It is much deeper than that. They view education as part of being a complete person, part of being a mature and more being. That is one key thing you can explore in college because people deep down have parts of morality in them. They just need to explore it further and college gives you the time and space to be able to do this without the suffocating influence of peer pressure which you had in high school. Like it or not, bullying is a reality. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, a lot of the behavioral patterns for bullying that started in kindergarten persisted into elementary, junior high school or high school actually makes it to college. College bullying takes the form of emotional intimidation. This is very fairly common in sororities and fraternities. These include sarcastic comments, putdowns, gossip, talking behind people’s back, pitting people against each other, manipulating and those kinds of things. The great thing about college and dealing with bullying is that there is a lot more you can do about it because for the most part. You need to seek the help of college authorities. You need to talk to a counselor that will walk you through identifying bullying. The first step helps you get another set of eyes on your situation so you can clearly see what is gong on. It may seem uncomfortable. It may seem like you have been bullied, but it could turn out to be just a person being a douche bag or a bitch. That happens. Not all people are angels. Not everybody behaves in a very desirable and upright way. There are douche bags and scam bags out there. This might just be a case of somebody treating you badly instead of bullying you. Seek help and get a second opinion as to what is going on. 2. Find an organization that caters to the same gender, race, background and religion as you. You can gain a lot of self-confidence and gain a lot of sense of belonging being in a group of people that share the same background BSN capstone project ideasand same interests as you. This also is a form of protection because if you are walking together and you spend a lot of time together with this group, there would be less opportunity for bullies to pull their shenanigans because they will get outnumbered and they might get their backsides handed to them. 3. Seek the help of somebody you trust. For you to reach that place, you have to talk to somebody that you respect, somebody that you can entrust your feelings and open up to, somebody that could help you reach for your inner strength and reach deep within you. This takes a lot of trust. That should be a good initial step. Talk to people you trust and a lot of times they would tell you stories of their own past experience when they themselves got bullied and how they handle the situation. 4. Take self-defense classes. If you are being physically bullied compared to emotionally bullied or being trash talked, it may be time to take matters in your own hands and take martial arts classes or self-defense classes.
