The composition of the Russian national ice hockey team for the upcoming world championship to be held in Latvia has been announced. The correspondent informs about it. The coaching staff announced the names of 25 hockey players. Three more  pinup  seats are reserved for the eventual challenge of National Hockey League (NHL) players. The tournament in Riga starts on May 21 and ends on June 6. In the first match of the Russian national team, there will be a meeting with the Czech team. Domestic hockey players lost to the Czechs in the Eurotour match on May 15.
